George Floyd’s brother, others testify at House Judiciary hearing on police brutality
George Floyd’s brother, Philonise Floyd, has testified before the House of Representatives judiciary committee, along with family lawyer Ben Crump
They were joined by 10 others at the first congressional hearing to examine the social and political undercurrents that have fuelled weeks of protests nationwide and overseas.
Floyd died on May 25 after a policeman knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes.
His death sparked nationwide calls for policing reforms.
