Femi Falana frowns at govt action towards ‘RevolutionNow’ protest
Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana has urged the federal government to take note of the fact that Nigerians are entitled to peaceful protests.
He was reacting to the protest tagged ‘revolution now’ which was disrupted by law enforcement agencies on Monday.
The police had arrested some youths who protested in some states.
Falana described the actions of the federal government as undemocratic and does not portray the country as a civilised one.
He also frowned at the actions of the security men, who he claimed were supposed to protect the protesters but rather arrested and injured them.
