Fayemi urges newly inaugurated board member of parastatals against selfish interest

Ekiti state governor, Kayode Fayemi, has inaugurated chairmen and board members of the state commissions, boards and parastatals with a warning to the appointees not to use the position to enrich themselves.

Governor Fayemi who spoke at the venue of the programme in Ado Ekiti wants the appointees to give top considerations to the welfare of the staff of their agencies for optimum service delivery.

Fayemi urged them to ensure that due process is followed in all matters that would be brought to their attentions.

Chairman civil service commission, Bunmi Famosaya, lauded the governor for finding them worthy of the appointments.

Famosaya assured that the board would work hard and prioritize the welfare of their staff as well as train and retrain them for optimal performance.

The board inaugurated were state independent electoral commission, state universal basic education, local government service commission and teaching service commission.

Others include, house of assembly service commission, primary health care delivery agency, hospital management board among others.
