Enyimba win record eight NPFL title

Enyimba were crowned the 2019 Nigerian Professional Football League champions for a record eighth time on Wednesday.

This followed a 3-0 win over Akwa United at the Agege stadium.

Goals from Reuben Bala, Stanley Dimgba and Abdulrahman Bashir secured an emphatic win for the Usman Abd’allah’s side.

Enyimba finished the 2019 championship playoffs with a remarkable 12 points from five games, and scoring 10 goals.

Enyimba will represent Nigeria in next season’s CAF champions league.
