EndSARS: Notable Nigerians accuse FG of betrayal

Some notable Nigerians have accused the federal government of betrayal of trust and agreement reached before the EndSARS protesters left the streets of Nigerian cities.

They also faulted judges who granted orders to freeze the bank accounts of the protest coordinators.

Under the umbrella of concerned professionals, they warned the government against forcing the youth into exile because they demanded good governance.

In the group were Mr Falana, Muiz Banire, Olutola Mobolurin as well as pat Utomi.

They explained, it was unfortunate that the federal government embarked on a witch hunt and victimisation of the EndSARS protesters.

The group says the central bank of Nigeria lacked the constituted right to freeze the EndSARS promoters’ accounts.
