Elizade University Pays Courtesy Visit To Adaba FM

The tourism and management department of Elizade University has affirmed that the tourism sector will receive a boom if stakeholders give it the required attention.

Head of the department, Carol Ogunlade, said the media have a role to play in promoting tourism and hospitality industry.

She said her department believed in Adaba FM’s strength to strengthen the sector considering its coverage.

Dr Ogunlade observed that Nigeria was experiencing a brain drain in the sector because government has neglected the industry.

In his remarks, general manager Sir Martins Ayoola, expressed the readiness of Adaba FM to partner institutions, especially, Elizade university whose interest is geared towards tourism development.

Sir Ayoola attested to the fact that tourism is gradually going into extinction in Nigeria considering the viability of the sector in foreign countries like United Arab Emirate and the United States.

Elizade university will on September the 27th hold an International Conference with the theme ‘’Tourism For Inclusive Growth’’ where Adaba FM will receive an award.
