EkitiDecides2022: Gov Fayemi votes, says electoral process peaceful

The Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, has described the ongoing Ekiti governorship election as peaceful so far.

The governor spoke after voting at PU 009, isan ward in Oye Local Government Area of the state.

Fayemi arrived the polling unit at 9:28 a.m. with his wife, Bisi.

He commended the Independent National Electoral Commission for the early commencement of the election adding that it is too early to pass a judgement on its performance.

The election is underway and the turnout of voters has been impressive so far.
