Ekiti state police parade 7 suspects over murder

Police in Ekiti State have paraded seven suspects over murder case and Abduction.

Some of the suspects were Kidnappers who allegedly abducted former State Commissioner for Agric in the State, Folorunsho Olabode sometime in May this year.

Police Public Relations officer in the State, Abutu Sunday who addressed journalists while parading the suspects in Ado Ekiti explained that the offence was committed at Odo Oro in Ikole Local Government Area of the state.

Abutu noted that the incident occured when Lawal in company of one Jimoh Ojo, Sule Abduallahi and one person named Wonder killed the motorcyclist popularly known as Isaac inside the farm.

Abutu also paraded one Yakubu Aliyu , who was arrested for alleged kidnapping inside a forest at Ilemesho Ekiti in Oye local government area of the State.

The PPRO further stressed that the suspects were arrested following a tip off the Command’s operatives had on November the 24th, 2020.

One of the suspects Ayo Aliyu during interrogation,confessed to be involved in the murder of the victim.

The PPRO assured that the suspects would soon be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded on the matters.
