Ekiti state launches conditional cash transfer
The governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi has formally flagged off the conditional cash transfer scheme in the state.
The scheme is a component of the social investment programme of the federal government also known as household uplifting programme.
The programme is targeted at bringing succour to the most vulnerable and downtrodden people in the state.
It also involves disbursement of cash to beneficiaries across the state.
