Ekiti begins distribution of COVID-19 palliatives to vulnerable persons
The Ekiti state government has begun immediate distribution of food palliatives to vulnerable persons in the state.
Earlier, it had taken delivery of food items from the Coalition Against COVID-19 (CACOVID).
The secretary to the state government Biodun Oyebanji took the delivery of the items, saying it was worthy of emulation.
The representative of the organization, Kayode Adejugbe explained that the food palliatives is a way of giving back to the society and alleviating the pains of the vulnerable in the society.
Special adviser to the governor on development partnerships Magaret Fagboyo assured that the items will be fairly distributed across board.
Some of the elderly beneficiaries of the palliatives thanked the state government and the organization for the initiative.
