Educate youths to shun social vices, Lucky Ayiedatiwa urges Ilaje leaders

Preserving the history and culture of any society is key to promoting a well updated course that will educate the younger generation in the future.

This formed part of the submission of Ilaje leaders who gathered at the public presentation and book launch of the history and heroes of the ilajes held at the dome Akure, Ondo state capital.

in his speech, The Author, Taiwo Gbamila noted that the book portrays the historical background of the Ilajes.

Mr. Gbamila lauded the efforts of stakeholders in making the work a reality.

The book reviewer, a professor of pure and applied psychology, Prof Bolanle Ogungbamila said the book symbolizes a unique perspective of the past, present and future of Ilaje kingdom so that the younger generation can benefit from it.

On his part, the chairman of the occasion, deputy governor, Lucky Ayiedatiwa stressed the need for leaders in Ilaje kingdom to always sensitize and educate the youths to shun all forms of social vices especially cultism in the society.

Ayiedatiwa was represented by his chief of staff, Segun Omojuwa.

The deputy governor congratulated the author for putting pen into papers in showcasing the rich culture and history of Ilaje kingdom.
