Edo deputy governor accuses Oshiomole of seeking 3rd term by proxy

Deputy governor of Edo state, Philip Shaibu, has accused former governor Adams Oshiomhole, of wanting to seek a third term in office as the state governor through his alleged surrogate, Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

In a statement, Shuaibu says the former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress was seeking a third term by proxy.

The statement describes Ize-Iyamu as a mere stooge. In a reaction to Shaibu’s statement, the state publicity secretary of the APC, Chris Azebamwan described the comments as laughable, saying the deputy governor was chasing a shadow
