Economic Development: We will partner credible organisations – Akeredolu

Ondo state governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu says his administration is willing to partner credible organizations to widen the economic base of the state.

He said such partnership will move the state from being a civil service one to an industry driven economy that will promote growth.

Governor Akeredolu made the disclosure while hosting development foundation known as partnership initiatives in the Niger Delta in his office.

He lamented that the current earnings of the state are barely enough to pay salaries not to talk about setting aside for development.

Earlier, the executive director of the partnership initiatives in the Niger Delta Dr. Dara Akala said the initiative was established to facilitate economic growth and peace in the Niger Delta region through partnership.

Dr. Akala commended governor Akeredolu for his clarity of vision, careful planning, hard-work and dedication at taking Ondo state to the greater height.
