Delta police destroys illegally refined diesel, kerosene in Warri

The Nigeria police, Warri, area command have destroyed unquantified automotive gasoline oil and kerosene suspected to be illegally refined in mason community, Warri south local government area of Delta.

Area commander, ACP Mohammed Garba led a team of police officers in the well coordinated operation that lasted for over an hour.

About 5,150 drums containing illegally refined diesel discovered during the raid.

No suspects were apprehended.

The products were loaded in drums, jerrycans and sacks while some were inside a wooden boat awaiting to be offloaded and were all destroyed.
