Cyclone Idai: Zimbabwean gov identifies land for victims
Zimbabwe’s president Emmerson Mnangagwa says his government has identified land to relocate people displaced by Cyclone Idai and those in areas prone to natural disasters.
He added that the government was pooling resources to build houses for those left homeless by the Cyclone.
The president said he was meeting with chiefs to ensure that tradition is followed in moving people to new areas.
Mr. Mnangagwa appreciated the commitment and perseverance that has been exhibited towards restoring disrupted lives which were affected by Cyclone Idai.
