COVID-19: Ooni to donate fumigators to 36 states

Ooni of ife,Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi says it has concluded plan to donate locally made motorized fumigators machine to all the 36 states of the federation to support the government in containing the spread of covid19

Oba Adeyeye stated this in ile ife during the demonstration of the newly fabricated fumigator in his palace.

The monarch noted that the task of disinfecting the environment became imperative in a view to preventing the spread of coronavirus in the country.

He emphasized the need for government to imbibe the culture of fumigating every point of palliative distribution due to failure of beneficiaries to maintain social distancing.

Oba Adeyeye who put the cost of fabricating the equipment to 1.5m Naira urged government to support the local industry which produced it to ensure mass production.

The monarch called on Nigerians to continue to observe precautionary measures put in place by government which include frequent hand washing, maintenance of social distancing and using of alcohol base sanitizers.
