Court remands herdsman for murdering 2 brothers

An Ilorin magistrates court had ordered that a herdsmen Mohammadu Usman be remanded in prison pending legal advice.

Usman was arraigned for allegedly killing two brothers.

The prosecutor inspector, Isaac Yakub had informed the court that the accused hacked, Usman and Salihu Abdullahi before stealing their cattle at Elemere through Malete in Moro local government area of Kwara state.

Yakub said the accused was caught while trying to escape.

The magistrate Oluwabukola Oreoluwa who did not take the plea of Usman ordered that he be remanded at Oke-Kurd prison, Ilorin.

 

the case was adjourned until may the 28th for further mention.
