Cholera cases reported in Cameroon ahead of AFCON
At least 10 cases of cholera have been confirmed in Cameroon weeks to the country hosting the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
The health ministry said nine of the cases are in the restive south-west region and one case in the capital Yaoundé.
Officials have set up a toll free number for people to report suspected cholera cases.
In 2020, more than 14,000 Cholera cases were reported in Cameroon.
