Brexit: UK leaves in October, Sajid Javid
UK Finance minister Sajid Javid has expressed optimism that the United Kingdom will leave the European Union on October the 31st, with a deal.
Javid noted that if UK cannot strike a deal, it is important to leave in any case though it is not perfect but it is appropriate that the country leave on the stipulated date.
He repeatedly refused to set out how the government could deliver Brexit if there was no deal given a law which demands the prime minister delay Brexit in such a scenario.
The finance minister insisted that despite the delays the policy is completely unchanged.
