Brexit talks between Britain’s two main parties to end with no deal

The conservatives and Labour in the United Kingdom are set to bring Brexit talks to close after six weeks without concrete agreement.

Prime minister, Theresa May and Jeremy Corbyn will now move to a second phase which is aimed at agreeing a process of parliamentary votes designed to find a consensus.

The latest moves comes after Ms. May promised to set a timetable for her resignation.

The UK was due to leave the European Union on March 29 but was pushed back to October 31 after members of parliament rejected Ms May’s proposed deal.

Next Brexit vote is expected in June.
