BREAKING: EndSARS protesters seek address in Ekiti
Hundreds of ENDSARS protesters in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital have again resumed their campaign against police brutality and called for the disbandment of the police unit, the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
The protesters armed with placards of various inscriptions such as #ENDSARS Now, Stop Police Brutality, Reform Nigeria Police Now among others, besieged the entrance of Government House and demanded the State Governor, Kayode Fayemi to Address them.
A leader of the Protesters, Toba Fatunla told Adaba FM that they want the Federal Government to back up it’s pronouncement banning SARS with Action.
Meanwhile, protests seeking the disbandment of SARS have taken place since last week. Demonstrations have spread across the country and have drawn wide international support.
