Bayelsa, Kogi residence fear recurrence of violence in Saturday poll

INEC national commissioner for voter education and information, Festus Okoye, says citizens of Bayelsa and Kogi states are cautions due to history of electoral violence in the states.

However, he said the chairman of INEC, professor Mahmud Yakubu has visited the states to calm the stakeholders.

Okoye revealed that INEC is fully prepared in all ramifications.

He maintained that there is no order restricting INEC from printing APC logos on the ballot papers for elections in Bayelsa state.
