Bahrain premier calls Qatar ruler in rare contact amid dispute
Bahrain’s prime minister has called Qatar’s emir to mark the start of the holy month of Ramadan.
It is a rare contact between Qatar and the countries boycotting it.
The call between prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa and Qatar’s emir, Sheik Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani was confirmed earlier today.
Bahrain’s state-run news agency described the call as restricted to Ramadan greetings.
