Authorities announce immediate closure of EKSU
Authorities of the Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti has announced immediate closure of the University.
The management in a press statement issued by the Head, Directorate of Information & Corporate Affairs of the institution, Bode Olofinmuagun and
made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti, noted that the closure was as a result of continuous disruption of lawful activities on campus which it have endangered lives and property in the past one week.
The press statement further stressed that all the four unions (ASUU, SSANU, NAAT and NASU) in the university have been proscribed with immediate effect
to guarantee peace and orderliness on campus.
The University management have also announced the suspension of all academic activities, while directing all students to vacate the campus with immediate effect.
