Assembly speaker asks Buhari to intervene in fight against banditry in Zamfara

The Zamfara state house of assembly speaker, Rt. honourable Nasiru Magarya, wants President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene and stop the incessant killings of people by bandits.

He expressed concern about the deplorable security situation in the state, especially the resurgence of pockets of attacks by recalcitrant bandits in the state.

In a statement by his media aide, Alhaji Mustafa Jafaru, the speaker says leaders in the state will fold their arms and watch innocent people being killed by criminals.
