Apprehend Bunmi Afuye’s killer, NUJ tasks Ondo Govt

The Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) has appealed to Ondo state government and security agencies to apprehend the killers of the late broadcaster Olubunmi Afuye.

The chairman of the union, Mr. Adetona Aderoboye made this known during a Candle light procession held for the late journalist, who passed on the 15th of July, in an armed robbery attack in Ilara- Mokin.

He described the sudden death of late Olubunmi as unfortunate.

At the event, other journalist and well-wisher described the late Afuye as gentle and hardworking.

Also addressing the gathering, diocesan union chaplain, the Reverend, Michael Olufemi urge everyone to live a Godly life

Fellow colleagues were joined by well wishers in a candle light procession which started at Adegbemile cultural center through S.O. Oba Adesida road, and ended at the NUJ press center.

Meanwhile, the burial ceremony of late olubunmi Afuye holds today at St Thomas Anglican church, isikan Akure by 2pm while interment follows immediately.
