APC presidential candidate, Tinubu departs for France

The presidential flagbearer of the All Progressives’ Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has departed the country for France.

Tinubu departed Nigeria shortly after he held a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential villa, Abuja this morning.

A statement issued by Tinubu’s spokesman, Tunde Rahman, in Abuja noted that while in France, Tinubu will hold some important meetings.

Rahman added that the APC standard-bearer is expected back in the country shortly.
