APC in Osun suspends former commissioner

The Osun state chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended a former commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs, Kolapo Alimi, for alleged anti party

His suspension was made known in a letter jointly signed by the ward executives, Elerinsi ward 9, Irepodun south local council development area Erin-Osun.

The senior legislative aide to the honourable speaker Femi Gbajabiamila was suspended at a meeting held today.

The party accused Alimi of anti-party activities.

In his reaction, Kolapo Alimi, said he was not aware of any suspension.

Alimi described his suspension as a fallacy because it was not in conformity with the constitution of the party.
