APC governors recommend Tinubu, Osinbajo and 3 others as possible consensus candidate

Governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have recommended Bola Tinubu, vice president Yemi Osinbajo, Ex-transportation minister, Rotimi Ameachi, governors Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti) and Dave Umahi (Ebonyi) as possible consensus candidates.

Plateau state governor and chairman of the Northern Governors Forum, Simon Lalong disclosed this on Tuesday

He said the APC is looking at the possibility of a consensus candidate.

He said consensus is possible adding that the president has given them to the opportunity work on it.

Lalong’s comments come a day after the APC’s national working committee   as well as the 19 northern governors insisted on the emergence of a southerner as Nigeria’s next president.
