APC demands daily briefing from INEC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council has asked INEC to be more open to Nigerians ahead of the rescheduled general elections.

It urged INEC to brief the nation daily on their challenges and steps being taken to address them.

The party’s director of election planning and monitoring and minister of power, works and housing Babatunde Fashola gave this hint at a news conference in Abuja

He said INEC should have had a better logistics arrangement ahead of the elections.

He added that Nigeria has abundant logistics personnel that the commission could tap from with the right mobilization.
