Apapa Road: FRSC implements president Buhari’s directive
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says it has commenced operation totality enforcement to ensure timely implementation of president Muhammadu Buhari directive.
Lagos state sector commander Hyginus Omeje told newsmen that tremendous progress have been made in cleaning the Apapa traffic constituted by the tankers and other articulated vehicles.
He said the exercise started with stakeholders meetings to ensure that everyone involved is carried along.
Buhari had ordered that trucks parked on Apapa road should vacate within 72 hours.
The president had said that the vacation would help in clearing the gridlock in Apapa and its environs and also help in restoring law and order in the area.
