Akeredolu’s convoy did not kill cyclist in Owo – Ondo govt

The Ondo state government has denied reports that the convoy of governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu had crushed one person to death.

A statement by the commissioner for information and orientation, Donald Ojogo, clarifies that the report is nothing but a misleading narrative.

It explains that the true story is the unfortunate death of a motorcyclist who had collided with a stationary vehicle.

The statement adds that the incidented vehicle is now at the police station in Owo for inspection and verification.

Still, governor Akeredolu sympathises with the family of the deceased and prays God for the repose of his soul.
