Akeredolu signs three bills into law
Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has signed three bills passed by the Ondo State House Of Assembly into Law.
The Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr. Donald Ojogo said the billed passed into law by the governor are legislative financial autonomy bill, Judiciary autonomy bill and Ondo State House Assembly Service Commission.
He said bills are signed into law by Governor Akeredolu to enhance transparency and accountability in governance of the state.
Also speaking, the Attorney general and Commissioner for Justice, Sir Charles Titiloye said the Ondo state government having gotten the template consulted widely on importance of the bill.
He said that committees have been set up for the two arms of government where they will be able to access the funds and take decisions on how to distribute it among the major departments.
Sir Titiloye noted that the committees will be headed by Chief Judge of the State and Speaker of the state house of assembly Respectively.
