Akeredolu orders immediate recruitment of health workers
Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has ordered the immediate employment of more health workers into the state health sector to further provide health care services to the people of the state.
The governor stated this when he paid host to the members of the Nigeria Medical Association NMA Ondo state chapter in Akure.
Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu promised to look into other critical challenges facing the health sector in the state and provide immediate solution.
He noted that the ongoing construction work on the UNIMED facility in Akure and Ondo town would soon be completed.
He vowed to procure more equipment in the hospital while outstanding allowances of medical practitioners would also be met soon.
Chairman NMA in Ondo State, Dr Omosehin Adeyemi-Osowe applauded the governor for his proactiveness in providing security for the people.
Dr Adeyemi-Osowe sought for more collaboration between government and health workers stop the brain drain in sector.
