Akeredolu carpets El-Rufai over anti open grazing law

Ondo state Governor Rotimi Akeredolu  has berated his counterpart in Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, over the latter’s comment on anti-open grazing law.

El-Rufai had described the anti-open grazing laws being signed by some of the southern governors as unrealistic.

In a reaction, Akeredolu says such a statement should not have come from a leader.

Akeredolu reiterates that the anti-open grazing law, especially in Ondo state, had come to stay, saying and will be guided without ethnic and religious biases.

He notes governor Nasir El-Rufai’s argument, if properly quoted and his views not misrepresented, is a pointer that the governor was struggling to export banditry to the south under an expressed opinion laced with mischief.
