Adeleke presents N273bn budget to State Assembly

Osun state governor senator Ademola Adeleke has presented the 2024 draft budget of 273.9 billion naira to the state house of assembly.

The budget tagged ‘budget of recovery and reconstruction’ comprises has 165.6 billion naira as it recurrent expenditure and 108.2 billion naira as capital expenditure

In his speech osun state Governor senator Ademola Adeleke said the tag for the document reflects his administration’s focus on revamping of all sectors for economic recovery and outstanding development.

Affirming his belief in executive-legislative collaboration for development, Governor Ademola sought the support of legislative members in achieving the budgetary goals once the proposal is passed into Appropriation Act.

While speaking the speaker of the state house of assembly rt hon Adewale Egbedun said in its deliberations, the house will consider government’s priority in sectorial development and alleviation of current economic challenges before the budget proposal is approved.
