Adeleke Appoints 44 Special Advisers

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has sworn in 44 special advisers, board chairmen and vice chairmen and subsequently announced their portfolios.

Governor Adeleke, after administering the oath of office and allegiance to the newly appointees at the state secretariat of the Governor’s office in Osogbo, the state capital, expressed confidence in their selection and capacity to bring their wealth of professional experiences to bear on governance.

The Governor urged them to discharge their duties effectively noting that he will not tolerate corruption, incompetency in his administration.

The governor also tasked the new appointees to see their appointments as a call to service.

Also speaking on behalf of the appointees Ropo Oyewale expressed hope that their composition which comprises technocrats, professionals will help drive the governor’s agenda on even transformation in the state.

The event was attended by political gladiators, top government functionaries, traditional rulers among others
