Ondo Govt. Inaugurates Committee On Grassroot Sports Dev.

Ondo state commissioner for youth development and sports , Hon Saka Yusuf Ogunleye has inaugurated a 7 Man committee to develop sports at the grassroot in the state. The commissioner said members of the committee were carefully selected and are expected to plan grassroot sports development, discover and develop talents in all parts of the state. Other terms include, reviving school sports competition among secondary schools in the state ( Public,private). The committee is also saddled with the responsibility of organising local government competition known as *Aketi* cup and to plan an prepare ondo state sports festival The committee is also expected to determine other relevant issues in sports development and plan for the implementation of government policy on grassroot sports development.
