Kogi APC governorship primaries underway

Political stakeholders in Kogi state have expressed confidence that the on going APC governorship primaries will produce a genuine candidate.

INEC has set aside November 16th for the conduct of the governorship election.

Players in the Kogi political field, party stalwart, statutory and non statutory delegates and other stakeholders are taking part in the primaries.

In an interview, chief of staff  to the  governor,  Edward Onoja and the SA women affairs, Alimotu Amodu said,  the  primaries will produce a candidate who has the spirit of continuity.

Jigawa state governor, Abubakar Badaru is presiding over the contest in which 9 aspirants are jostling for the Lord Lugard government house.
