Ekiti government not in support of Ruga settlement policy – Fayemi

Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti state has declared that he does not understand the concept behind the establishment of Ruga settlement.

Fayemi said his government did not key into the policy adding that the Ruga settlement policy was blown out of proportion.

He informed that the policy was proclaimed by the federal government and the states that embraced it were not in Yoruba land.

Fayemi spoke at this month’s edition of meet your governor

Fayemi explained that he is building a synergy with his Ondo state counterpart to make Akure/Ado road safe for commuters.

The Ekiti state governor said he will continue to serve the people.
