Election: INEC’s Sensitive Materials Arrive Ekiti

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ekiti state has distributed all sensitive election materials to all the 16 local government areas ahead of Saturday’s state assembly election in the state.

INEC head of voter education and public relations in the state, Taiwo Gbadegesin confirmed to Adaba FM that the distribution took place at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Ado Ekiti for onward delivery to the local government headquarters.

The distribution was supervised by the INEC administrative secretary, Muslim Omoleke in the presence of representatives of political parties and security agencies of the state.

The sensitive materials were earlier returned to CBN on Saturday, 23rd of February after the presidential and national assembly elections.

He expressed the optimism that the materials would arrived the local government later in the day with about 10 armed security personnel in each of the local government.
