Zimbabwean women cry out over rape
Several women in Zimbabwe have cried out over the spate of rape by soldiers who were dispatched to secure peace in some major cities.
The soldiers are also in the country to enforce crackdown to crush public unrest after nationwide protest over fuel price rises.
A non governmental organisation, justice for women rights Zimbabwe said 9 cases of women who were raped have been documented.
The organisation noted that many rape victims are afraid to report to government or the police.
However, the army has denied any misconduct insisting that some criminal gangs might have stolen uniforms to commit abuses.
