Police rescues Tanzanian billionaire Mohammed Dewji
Police in Tanzania have rescued Tanzanian businessman and former member of parliament for the ruling CCM party, Mohammed Dewji from abductors who was seized by unidentified men in Dar es Salaam.
Dar es Salaam regional commissioner Paul Makonda confirmed the rescue.
He said the suspects who are all foreigners have been arrested.
Dewji was kidnapped during his morning workout in the early hours of today in the country’s commercial capital.
