Osun Police Arrest Eight Over Removal of 16-Year-Old Boy’s Scrotum

Osun State Police Command says it has arrested eight suspects over alleged removal of 16 years old boy scrotum in Ikire, the headquarters Irewole local government area of osun state.

The Police Public Relations officer, Abiodun Ojelabi made this known in a statement made available to newsmen in Osogbo the state capital.

The suspects are; Ismail Abiodun ,Usman Ademola ,Yonke Akinwale , Fatai Abiodun , Fatai Sikiru , Tawa Inakonko, Idowu Adesina , and Awotunde Saudat .

According to the police spokesperson the victim, Faruq Abudu was lured by the suspects to a nearby bush and cut his abdomen in a bid to remove some vital organs of his body.

Ojelabi hints that the suspects after successfully removing the scrotum of the boy, they fled the scene, but the victim cried for help which alerted the community, ultimately leading to the arrests of the eight suspects.

The police says the victim is currently at an hospital in ibadan receiving treatment and the suspects will be charged to court upon completion of investigation.
