FG Backs Maryam Bukar Hassan’s Global Peace Mission

The Federal Government has pledged full support to United Nations Global Advocate for Peace, Maryam Bukar Hassan, in her mission to promote unity and peace worldwide.

Vice President Kashim Shettima gave the assurance in Abuja when Maryam, a Nigerian spoken word artist and peace advocate, visited him at the Presidential Villa.

Shettima described her appointment as well-deserved and praised her viral performance, “Violence Has No Religion,” as a powerful message of peace.

Maryam said her work will start in Nigeria, calling for collaboration with the government to tackle security challenges and promote harmony.

Her team said they will spend the next two years building a coalition of young voices and working with creatives to spread peace messages globally.
