APC Slams El-Rufai Over Criticism of Tinubu Administration
The All Progressives Congress, APC, has described the recent comments of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, against the Tinubu administration as reckless and a display of childish politics.
In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, APC said El-Rufai and his allies in the African Democratic Congress, ADC, have no clear policies to offer Nigerians, apart from personal attacks and baseless accusations.
APC added that el-Rufai has become a political clown since his failed ministerial ambition.
The party noted that Tinubu’s economic reforms, including fuel subsidy removal and exchange rate harmonization, are already showing positive results in agriculture, infrastructure, oil production, and power supply.
It dismissed claims that Tinubu’s government is clannish, insisting the President is a detribalized leader who is working to unite the country, unlike El-Rufai, who was accused of marginalising minorities in Southern Kaduna.
APC said Nigerians will continue to support President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and expressed confidence that his achievements will earn him a second term in 2027.
