PDP Crisis Deepens In Osun As Faction Rejects Harmonization, Insists On Congress

The last may not have been heard of the crisis rocking the people Democratic party PDP as a faction of the party in Osun state has rejected the local government harmonization template released by the National Caretaker committee.

The group made its stance known Monday at an emergency meeting in Osogbo.

Member of caretaker committee, Niyi Owolade said,the template is not proportional to the strength of the group as reflected in the INEC authenticated ward congress result held few weeks ago.

Also speaking a former deputy Governor in the state ,olusola obada demanded Congress into the offices at the local governments level and warned the National Caretaker committee of the party against sending a committee for local government affirmation in the state..

The two groups led by Soji Adagunodo and Bayo Faforiji had last week been invited to the National Headquarters of the party in Abuja to discuss the harmonization template for all the 30 local governments in the state.
