APC opens secretariat in Ondo

The Akure north local government secretariat of the All Progressives Congress has been opened.

Ondo state APC chairman, Ade Adetimehin opened the secretariat to the delight of party members and supporters.

Adetimehin said the opening of the party secretariat cannot come at a better time than now to consolidate the gains the APC recorded at the last election.

He was represented by the senatorial chairman of the party, Festus Aregbesola.

Acting chairman of the party, Ayodele Atanniyi said the secretariat became important because of the need to have a place where party activities will be carried out and coordinated.

Atanniyi solicited the support and assistance of members for smooth running of the party in the local govt.

Leaders of the party said the secretariat is the beginning of better things in the local govt.
