Akure North APC Suspends Chairman Over Abuse of Office

The executive committee of APC in ward 4, Igbatoro in Akure north local government has suspended it’s chairman, Lawrence Adebayo.

Adebayo was suspended at the ward meeting held in today.

He was accused of gross incompetence and running the affairs of the ward by proxy.

They appointed Oluwatoyin Olasehinde acting chairman till further notice.

Acting chairman of the ward, Oluwatoyin Olasehinde said the suspension takes immediate effect.

Financial secretary of the ward, Kehinde Adam and woman leader, Ajoke Babajide said expressed loss of confidence in Adebayo over his inability to move the party forward.

The executive committee also pass vote of no confidence on Wale Ijalade, Sumbo Obe, Olufunke Adu and Sunday Ogunlade who are leaders in the ward.
