Oyetola flags off Osun Food Support Scheme

Osun state government says its committed to the welfare of people in the state especially the vulnerables.

Osun state Governor Gboyega Oyetola stated this while flagging off the 16th edition of Osun food support scheme held at the Government secretariat Abeere Osogbo.

Osun Food support scheme is an initiative of the state government where various food items are distributed with the aim of bringing succour to the less privilege in the state.

While Speaking at the flagging off ceremony, Osun state governor Gboyega Oyetola who was represented by the secretary to the state government Wole Oyebamiji said despite the outcome of the July 16th Governorship election in the state, he will continue fulfilling the promises made to the people of the state till his last day in office.

Also speaking the state commissioner for regional integration and special duties Olalekan Badmus said numerous entrepreneur who are mostly graduates and enterprising youths have benefitted in the scheme since it’s commencement.

On this edition of osun food support scheme over thirty thousand gaari were distributed to vunerables citizens across all the local government areas in the state
